Discovering Formats with Roll Film
Unlike the classic 35mm format, which rigidly restricts us to a standard frame size of 24x36 mm, roll film offers a fascinating variety of dimensions. It doesn't lock you into a single, uniform size for negatives or slides. Instead, the specific camera system you use—or interchangeable accessories like film backs and magazines—determines the actual frame size on the film strip.
