Black and white photography for projection with the slide projector! for this purpose the industry offered some special films.

The Agfa Dia Direct film had to be sent directly to Agfa for development, the purchase of the film included the development costs.

Production and sales have long since ceased.

The Agfa Scala, later revision Agfa Scala X, were the successors to the Agfa Dia Direct. It offered, for example, a higher film speed and was therefore suitable as an all-round film in b / w slide photography.

Unfortunately this film was only produced until the expiry date 2004/2005.

Tetenal offered an inverse expansion theorem. This allowed normal black and white films to be developed into slides.

Today the Czech company Foma offers such chemistry!
