TTArtisan 4.0/17mm Tilt- and Shift Lens

In this video, I test the TTArtisan 17mm f/4 Tilt-Shift lens on the full-frame Canon EOS R5.

Tilt and shift lenses have been a major part of my photography journey since I was 20 years old, dreaming of gear like the Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 outside the nursing school dorm in Bonn.

Today, I am putting this modern TTArtisan 17mm f/4 ultra-wide perspective control lens through its paces.

I dive deep into the mechanics of both the tilt and shift functions. You will learn exactly how shift allows for precise perspective control to keep architectural lines perfectly straight. I also break down how tilt utilizes the Scheimpflug principle to manipulate the plane of focus, giving you incredible control over depth of field.

Join me as I explore the optical quality, the mechanical build, and the real-world performance of this lens for architectural and landscape photography.
