Sheet films are photographic films that are usually inserted into a sheet film cassette in complete darkness and are intended for large format cameras. Common sizes are 4×5 inches, 5×7 inches, or 8×10 inches. After exposure, the film is removed and developed. Due to their size, sheet films can capture a lot of detail and deliver the highest image quality, fine grain, and maximum sharpness. Sheet films for large format photography For large format photography, I use these two films almost exclusively. On the left is a Kodak Ektachrome E100, color slide film.
